Heavy Petting is unique in the way it was founded and remains as a family operated business where we actively involved in the day-to-day running of the business. A strong sense of family commitment is ingrained across every level of the Heavy Petting team, extending to our customers and their pets. We as a team go above and beyond for customers, by being able to provide expert advice and good old fashioned customer service -including carrying your items to the car!

In the development of the name, it was felt that ' HEAVYPETTING’ captured everything about the business in one short and easy to remember word. Today, while the focus of the business is more skewed toward catering for the lifetime needs of pets, the word ' Heavy Petting' still encompasses the wide range of products across all animal categories.
 

Live stock & Deliveries

We have a variety of animals, birds and fish as other critters that you can give a forever home to. If you’re in need of delivery, we can organize that for you too.
